# Third-party software

The original SmartUnlink source is preserved in `legacy/`. Its README and package.json declare MIT; upstream did not include a standalone LICENSE file at the fork point.

The Windows MSI embeds these components:

| Component | Version | Source / license information |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Python | 3.13.15 | https://www.python.org/ — PSF license; LICENSE.txt in runtime |
| PySide6 Essentials | 6.11.2 | https://code.qt.io/pyside/pyside-setup.git — LGPLv3/GPL/commercial options |
| shiboken6 | 6.11.2 | https://code.qt.io/pyside/pyside-setup.git — LGPLv3/GPL/commercial options |
| psutil | 7.2.2 | https://github.com/giampaolo/psutil — BSD-3-Clause |

Runtime license files are included with the components. Qt uses dynamically loaded libraries in the installed `python/PySide6` directory. Users may replace those libraries with compatible versions and may modify/debug those LGPL components. The project imposes no additional restriction on those activities. Corresponding Qt source is available from https://download.qt.io/official_releases/qt/ and PySide source from the repository linked above, at the release version matching the binary.

Linux uses Debian-managed dependencies. macOS uses Apple system frameworks. The legacy Electron application has separate npm dependencies, recorded in legacy/package-lock.json; it is not the runtime shipped by SmartUnlinkPro.
